Fairford Pre-School is a charitable organisation run by a committee of dedicated parents with an elected Chair, Treasurer and Secretary and a team of highly qualified, caring staff.
Pre-School provides a secure, friendly and stimulating environment for pre-school children, easing the transition between home and school. We are fortunate in having a building specifically designed for small children, with excellent facilities both inside and out.
Children are encouraged to join in a range of interesting activities and are educated following the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Politeness, manners and consideration for others are important and children are encouraged to perform tasks which stretch their abilities and improve their self confidence.
Fairford Pre-School has been awarded outstanding in our most recent OFSTED inspection in June 2011. We are extremely proud to achieve this highly commendable accolade and continue to work on a daily basis to maintain the high standards we have set. We have focused in recent years on achieving free flow play both indoor and outdoor which requires careful curriculum planning and equipment, such as all-weather suits. This was one of the many achievements acknowledged by OFSTED as placing the pre-school as a higher setting than others.
